Wexen No.18 is composed of three distinct elements: a circular illuminated disc, a slender metal frame, and a solid stone base. The relationship between these materials gives the piece its character, with the glowing ring appearing to rest lightly above the weight of the stone. Positioned beside a lounge chair, reading corner, or open wall, it introduces both light and material interest to the room.

The integrated LED sits within the circular diffuser, creating an even halo of light across the surface. From different viewpoints, the stone, metal, and illuminated disc reveal themselves in changing proportions, giving the piece a different expression throughout the day.
